Founded by Al Accurso, Jr., a Contra Costa resident since 1958. Al worked in the Plumbers Union local 393 prior to starting ALCOR SOLAR, this is where Al was thoroughly and properly trained for the Solar Industry.

From 1981—2013 ALCOR has been a dealer for HCP Solar by BenTech (formally HCP Solar by Sealed Air), manufacturers of State-Of-The-Art Solar Pool Collectors. ALCOR achieved the highly coveted Exclusive Distributor/Dealer in 1993.

This Exclusive Distributor/Dealer position has been earned through years of proven technical expertise, dedication to the industry, high quality installation procedures, and ethical business practice.

ALCOR is licensed through the "Contractors State License Board" department of Consumer Affairs for the State of California as a "C-46" Solar Contractor and a "B" General Contractor.

ALCOR is fully insured carrying General Liability Insurance, Automobile Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation.
