FP Series Collectors Provides maximum efficiency at the lowest cost possible while maintaining the highest quality standards. FS Series Collectors The only framed co-polymer collectors on the market. The frame makes them self supporting and allows for mounting on stringers elevated from the roof surface. This feature facilitates ventilation between the collectors and roof. The frame also makes these collectors an excellent choice for tile roofs and ground mount applications. The use of stringers allows for a minimum number of roof penetrations necessary for installation. A patented internal coupling system allows for mounting the collectors flush with each other thereby making for a more aesthetically pleasing installation. FW Series Collectors Features a windscreen that creates a greenhouse effect across the surface of the FS collector reducing heat loss caused by the wind. COLLECTOR CONSTRUCTION Sealed Air FP, FS and FW Series feature rugged modular construction and a unique HCP® hollow core profile design to provide uniform heat collection and single pass channels to decrease pump and filter load. Each FP-Series collector is manufactured using the following specially designed components to provide optimum performance with maximum economy: COLLECTOR MANIFOLD The solar collector's manifold is designed to distribute water evenly among the individual panels without the use of external piping. A prorietary process and unique design are used to join the collector manifold and absorber panels to eliminate stress and joint failures. HCP® ABSORBER PANEL The HCP® hollow core profile absorber panel is made from a special copolymer incorporating highly effective antioxidants and ultraviolet inhibitors. Extruded in a single monolithic four-foot width, this unique panel is designed to enhance optimum heat collection by providing maximum contact between the sun and water directly below the absorber's surface. The copolymer material is totally inert and not affected by scaling or strong chemicals. Properly drained, Sealed Air Collectors are not damaged by freezing. SUBSTRATE Every FS & FW panel is backed by a fiberglass substrate to shield the back side of the collector from wind and protect the surface of the panel from the roof and the roof from the panel. MODULAR STEEL FRAME Sturdy modular frames, made of hot-dipped galvanized steel with black powder coat finish, are easy to install and provide strength where required. INSTALLATION COMPONENTS Sealed Air systems utilize only top-quality installation components and feature unique internal couplers to provide flush collector mounting and protection from ultraviolet rays.
